Hey @MAG5035 CTP is cutting back Monday/Tuesday totals. It does appear it’s gonna be more slop than snow.
-
Monday and Tuesday look poor in the southern half of pa if you like enough snow to shovel. Strung out systems with minimal precipitation suck.

Wind...a lot of wind...
Tons of wind.

Had a little snow shower earlier tonight. Mood flakes more than anything.

Where is Canderson with a wind update? For the past hour or two my house has been shaking - it is windier here now than a lot of actually forecasted "wind events."
West winds - the only direction I'm guarded from them mostly.

I assume you're talking the early week storm? GFS is a whiff south for the storm later in the week. (though that came north and is still a viable threat)
It's still equally possible that southern PA sees a lot of snow next week or little to nothing. (Monday could be a little too north = Thursday could end up south)
Edit: Shouldn't have said equal chances. Monday looks like at least some snow is likely at this point.
Yeah, Monday. I ignore any second storm until the first chance passes by.

GFS looks really good (to me, an idiot) for true CPA.

You guys are super confident for a storm 3.5 days away .... lol

Instead of Mostly Cloudy, Partly Sunny or Mostly Sunny. Oh I forgot Heavy Wind Warnings.
That'll be a shock to the system. I honestly can't remember a more boring run of weather in peak winter - last year was AWFUL but we had at least rain to track lol.

Wait we're really going to have a possible storm Monday?

Is there a website that archives NHS forcast each day. Like if I wanted to go back to 1/20/1995 for example, and find the NHS 3 or 5 day forecast on that date.
Is there a site (pay is fine) that provides historical model run data at good resolution so that I could say pull up the forcast tempature, qpf, snow on each model run for the past 6 months at at least 24 hour increments for Harrisburg for the euro or gfs?
.I’ve hunted for one several times to no avail.

Serious I have winds gusts pushing 40 all day. What the hell.
-
It's windy as hell. That's all I got.

Had a doc visit this am and on the way home we saw 4 snowflakes. Most exciting weather we've had since the 3rd week of December.

I'm appreciating the rain - it has been dry for 2 weeks. Need some moisture in the ground.
That’s true - it’s been incredibly dry (again.)

38 and pouring rain in mid January pisses me off. Can we also impeach Mother Nature?

Well @Voyager got a new trucking job (congratulations!) so we can guarantee a snowstorm in two weeks. #lockitup

Boring pattern this week, mid 20's in the mornings, and mid 30's in the afternoon, and mostly cloudy.
Maybe a chance to pick up a little snow this weekend, temperature dependent. One inch at a time adds up
I see Minnesota, Green Bay and Detriot is getting hit with snow tomorrow. I would be happy for a boring clipper right now.
Blizz I see that map is 384 hours what could go wrong?
Thanks everyone for the maps and your thoughts!
It feels like it's been years since we had a clipper.

Hey at least it’s cold. We didn’t even have that last season.

Got around 1-2" today and it looked nice out there for a bit...
My wife tested positive ( tested on Tuesday) for covid so I'm sure I have it as well..so I will be locked up for a while.
Best wishes to her. I have two friends in ICU with it currently.

I never saw a flake today. It did sleet off/on for a bit.

Been pouring sleet for about 30 minutes.

The NAM says DC gets like half a foot and MDT might get an inch. So, yeah.
