Friend outside Cleveland already has 8” snow. Definitely an overperformer out west. 

Snowing in the south - maybe we’ll have another season like like last year where the south is more of a winter spot than SC Pa. 

Last week when CTP predicted 1.25” rain we got less than .25”. This looks more promising. It who knows.

Is November also going down as the hottest ever in Harrisburg? Last I saw we were 10+ degrees above normal. It’s been warm. Lots of days +15 or more. 

The high was 59. It’s 67 in my backyard. It’s warm.

Last I looked we were going to get around 1.25” rain overnight. I’m curious if we even get .25” - it looks very light.

I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving! Sadly, I won't be coming back to see any of my family in Central PA for this holiday because of Covid. Christmas is looking iffy too.  

In the same boat - no trips to Texas for the holidays for the first time since moving here in 2006. This too shall pass, hope is on the horizon.

Please during the holiday stay safe - I am sure some of you aren’t a proponent of wearing masks and I am not looking for a fight whatsoever but do remember those in hospitals. My Health department director friend says they expect icu beds in the state to basically be unavailable by Dec 15. 
 

But above all - enjoy beer, food and relaxation. And decent weather it looks l8e after some rain Wednesday and early Thursday!

F winter, you’ve been out of work for 7-8 months so I hope you get cleared regardless of what snow we (won’t) get. 

Gut tells me it’ll be a pretty boring winter.

I had a company come to my house today to clean our gutters. Their ladder fell and made a crazy loud sound. I thought for sure that I would be calling 9-1-1, but it was just the ladder that fell and not the guy. It did strand 2 guys on my roof, but I was able to hoist the ladder back up for them to get down!

Has a nice little squall come through the city about 30 minutes ago. Had some graupel but it was mostly snow for about 2 minutes. 

It’s almost windier today than it was Sunday here. 

Edit: it’s definitely windier today. Geez.

We didn’t get much above a few 35 gusts. Tomorrow is trash day here too but I’ll wait to take out until I go to bed, just to be safe!
