    Nammy looked better at H5 with its track but didn't translate down to the surface.

    The Nam looked like a mess with the slp, Even 1-2" here would be a win, But its possible for more but i would fell better if i was more east, Still have some pack left here but the ice thicknesses are off the charts for this time of year, I sell bags to a lot of the bait dealers so i get first hand reports on depths and how the fishing is, Earliest folks have been able to get out there.

    The SV clown maps which are usually closer to reality in many cases as i find can be conservative was much more generous for snow over WMA and WCT then the one above, Really wish they would add more mid level maps though and make them available.

    I was getting ready to post the qpf amounts but steve i see added the clown in there, Bumped up the qpf over all though.

    Yeah, Its been cold, Ice thicknesses are at historical all time earliest coverage here, Some that i know have been ice fishing since Black Friday where earliest they have been able to get on lakes and ponds have been 12/16, Seeing 8"+ in many instances.

    That happens a lot after a very cold stretch, It can get quite treacherous.

    GYX put up an HWO with a lot of uncertainty but are leaning towards some slippery travel up here as its right at the morning commute.

    It is, But we have seen this happen before, If you get this thing to go apeshit at the right time, Somebody can score rather quickly, But try pin pointing that now or if it even happens, Something to watch anyways then hashing how long the torch is going to last over the next 7-10 days...............

    Quite overdone it appears, But maybe it has the right idea of better development earlier, Seems like other guidance has moved slowly in that direction.

    I actually remember that storm as i was making some sales calls down in Westerly, RI, Taunton and Scituate and the traffic on 95 was a nightmare.

    Borderline events where you were before now may be more favorable to you just being on the right side of the CF is a plus.
