    You can build some good thickness's with temps at night in the single digits and low teens with no snow to insulate and temps below freezing during the daytime hours, The skating up here right now, Is as good as it gets.

    I bet, They are here loving it here too, Probably one of the earliest starts i have seen up here, Some were out ice fishing on Thanksgiving, Some of the lakes already have 7"+ of solid blue ice to boot.

    We are building up some decent ice thickness on the Lakes and Ponds so it does have significance.

    Heights off the east coast were a few tics higher then 12z, Also that s/w in the midwest that's trying to interact with the one down south was north over So Dakota @18z rather then Nebraska @12z, Just some subtle differences that i noted without getting into more detail, We'll just watch it for now, Nothing else to do weather wise anyways.
