The pool was closed last year on 09/11, Still on target for that date, Mainly its because of the huge oak that towers over one end, The leaf and acorn drop become unbearable so its a constant battle to keep clean as you have to vac it out to waste and then you're just wasting chemicals plus clogging the head with acorns, We use the skim net to get the bulk of it out first though.

That's awesome Steve, Feels good when you make upgrades, I had left out that were doing the flooring as well, Going to with all wood laminate except for the two bedrooms, My house was originally built in the 40's so some of this was overdue as the last time improvements were made was 25 or so yrs ago.
  7. May have to check that out, Actually had to add a dehumidfier down there as now its damp more with the furnace running less and having a 45 gal hot water storage tank.
  8. Yes, Going from a warm fired boiler to a cold fired one and from 1gal/min to .6 gal/min makes a huge difference.
  9. The new boiler is already paying dividends last year at this time with my old one had already spent $750 from April to August on oil this year with the new boiler I’ve only used a quarter of a tank. Lol
  10. I went all out this year new boiler this spring new windows and new roof this fall.
  11. Just bought 8 new Harvey windows and will be installing them in the next few weeks, My certainteed windows have seen there better days with today's window technology, They were drafty as hell.

  13. Certainly was a fallish day out today, PC skies, High of 65F with relentless NW winds gusting in the 20-30 mph range, Acorns were dropping everywhere too.
  14. 55/52, 0.93", Been a good steady RN/+RN all morning and now has tapered off to -SHRN.
  15. Its about the same here, But that is for seasoned, Green is $180-$225, Tree length is $125-$150 depending on wood variety.

  19. Whether it gets labeled a Cat 5 or not, One would assume its going to be at a 5 by landfall.
