Identified - The latest update from ECMWF indicates that both the 12z Euro Op and Ensemble will be delayed until further notice due to major network issues. We will update and begin processing the data as soon as it is made available by ECMWF. Jan 24, 2023 - 13:24 EST

Then it should have just ran on time...............

Just as i said that Investigating - Due to issues at the ECMWF, dissemination of the 12z Euro Op is delayed. We will begin processing the data as soon as it becomes available from ECMWF. Jan 24, 2023 - 13:06 EST
-
Have not read anything about an issue with this run.
-
12z Euro running late, Has not initialized.

NWS changed there criteria for winter storm warnings for coastal areas and elevations, i Believe its 6"/24 hrs for coastal and just inland and in foothills and higher elevations its 8"/24hr period that it has to fall into to meet warning criteria, Outside of those windows, Its WWA's.

Both would help many, I've been looking for some of those small changes, So far not the case but the messenger rule may come into play the next 24-30 hrs.

Pretty high probability of snow on the low end amount based off of 90%+ chance.
-
I like how the GFS tries to get cute with placing possible qpf amounts based off of elevation in there algorithm.

The point forecast is where i think we end up, 6-10" range over here.

6-10"

12z HRRR looked a bit warmer for ESNE, Doesn't look like it has much of a thump as the 06z run did there but take that output at this lead with a grain of salt.

Ha, What a quick turn of events, This pack will also get solidified, My concerns are going to be with power outages, For some its the same areas that were affected yesterday, York county here took a big hit and now this is going to be more widespread as the areas that saw fluff yesterday are going to see wet snow this go round onto trees that already are loaded with yesterdays once you have the changeover.
-
My totals were 6" on the 20th and 15" yesterday, And 8-12" on the P/C forecast, We will have to wait and see how it plays out for this one, Some of these models are torching here sooner, Want to see a few more cycles to see if they pick up on the CAD like they do inside 48hrs or so.

LFG!!
