Def was hit or miss until 230-3 when a nice batch come up from the south, but the best missed me east. You are a little further west of me, I think, so it may have missed you even more.

Heavy rain! ….right as I had to corral a loose dog and return it to a neighbor’s house.

The purpleair site is lovely, and that little box that opens you can actually download it as a csv file and see each reading and time in a table format. I can go back to the 6/5 when levels were in the teens/20s and all the way to today. #datanerd

So after a steady drop, levels are rising again at home. Was about 150s a couple hours ago, pushing 200 again.

BCPS cancelled all after school stuff too. It has not gotten any better in terms of visibility in Hunt Valley.

Yeah that is weird, you would think without snow days you would be getting out sooner since you didn't have days to make up for. Sorry!

I feel the pain friend. Mine was supposed to be until 6/21, but because we had no days off for snow they get out Tuesday instead.

BCPS just cancelled some activities for today. No outside field trips, or recess. Will make a call later about after school stuff.

Worst morning by far. Can usually see the hills on my drive south but not today. Same at the office, looking east from Hunt Valley.

She loved that I was there! And yes the talking about maps was fun. I did touch upon GIS a little, very broad overview of using spatial information to make pretty pictures hahaha. Mostly I focused on maps as a whole, how you can map anything and then what courses and things I learned to get me to my big girl job. I thought it went really well! I am soaking up every minute she lets me be around because I know it will end eventually.

Did Career Day at my kid’s school today, got to talk nerdy about maps. 4th graders are some sassy kids hahaha. Had them help me “finish” a map by guessing what elements were missing (title, legend, scale bar, etc.) and after they were done I thanked them for helping me finish my map and one of them says “it was already done though because you had to add those elements we couldn’t see” lololol I was also called pretty which made my day
