  1. Was curious about my own average. While my dataset is much much smaller, after 12 full winters I am averaging 23” a winter
  2. Now that was a steady as she goes for like a week of model tracking. When instead of worrying about a warm nose, or the column evap cooling… it was will I get 26 or 30
  3. They are useful in better setups when warm air isn’t present in any part of the column. Which lately, is hard to come by around here. But we love our pinks and purples
  4. Cool. My point was and still is that snow maps are lol. But thanks anyways
  5. The model? I didn’t look at soundings, but I don’t get below freezing until after 4, most the qpf is done for me by this point
  6. Ok back on topic. I looked at the gfs. Gfs is lol with snow maps. I’m 34/33 for most of event, with maybe .2 at the end with temps at 32/31. Snow map is 5” at 10:1. lol no way.
  7. Friend, I’ve been ignoring you for years . You only bother me when everyone falls for your bait and it sucks a thread into a black hole.
  8. Probably. Thankfully you don’t have to if you don’t want to.
  9. Lot of snow melt today.
  10. I wish I could 5 post you for the next year
  11. When will yall learn that snow maps are shit, especially in marginal setups. Qpf and knowing your climo is key.
  12. Yall the bickering with each other is just as annoying as troll posts. Go fight in banter
  13. Friendly request: if there’s obvious trolling going on from posters, please report it. Us mods aren’t always here, don’t always read each thread and catch things. If it doesn’t get reported, then we don’t see it if we come in a thread pages later. So report it, even if the mods in this subforum don’t see it, another mod elsewhere may and may act faster.
  14. Ah yes the poster is not great
  15. Who are we talking about?
  16. Ahhh mine held on, barely haha
  17. Did your snow from 1/17-1/18 melt by 1/25? I still had snow on the ground before the snow/sleet
  18. 2-3 depth in shaded undisturbed places. Down to grass in others, especially where the dogs have been. Pile at the end of the driveway is down to 3 feet tall instead of 4 haha
  19. Dude I’m watching it too. 130+m jumps are wild. Cannot even fathom it
  20. Norrisville measured .1 of snow in their cocorahs report this AM
