There seems to be a heavier area of precip that rides the MD/PA line later today/tonight where I think the higher qpf comes into play. It’s cold here

Feb 2021 was the last time I saw a 5” event. It’s been much longer for places to my east.

https://cava.com/menu The one in the HV Towne Center opened last summer. There is another further south in Timonium. Spicy lamb bowl for me all day every day haha. The Honeygrow next door to Cava is pretty good too.

Maybe it’s overall less precip? I read through the 4am forecast discussion and they don’t really mention anything out of the ordinary to why they think it will be less impactful further south. Colder temps, same warm nose… it’s weird for sure.

NAM is definitely more spotty in nature until later in the day, but even then it’s not all that widespread. Only thing I can think is they are leaning more on the mesos vs global

There’s a winter storm watch for Garrett and Allegany in MD. Some in PA too per CTP
