  1. Pouring in basking ridge at the office; very loud cracks of thunder.
  2. 68/67…soupy. But I see Sun, and that should burn off the fog and launch temps. Would be nice to let the lawn dry a little bit before mowing.
  3. We’ve had continuous light drizzle all night. Wondering how much we are up to since this event began last Friday. Every drop counts with this projected torch; also I’d prefer to avoid hand watering my newest gardens that I installed in May
  4. 61 with rain showers at the moment; tad humid but don’t think we reached 65 today. I will miss this when it’s 98/72.
  5. Every day is a blessing, regardless of the weather; granted having young kids stuck in doors can be a challenge. Happy Father's Day to those of us on this thread! If those 10-day progs pan out, I will miss the relatively benign weather we have had up to this point; as will all of our power bills.
  6. Getting into heavier rain now as it looks like the main line is cutting west to east with a slight sag south; stationary front?
  7. Having worked in New Brunswick, that city is at least 5 degrees warmer than the immediate surrounding towns on any given day. Not saying CP is accurate but NB might not be the best example The amount of high rise buildings under construction will only help to jack those numbers.
  8. Very heavy rain in Chester right now. Looks like the tail end of a line moving NNE.
  9. I guess you all didn’t get the rains like we did out this way? I am camping with my daughter’s Girl Scout troop, in town, and we got it while we were setting around 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Cooled the temps off perfectly and made tent camping palatable.
  10. 51/45… trying to stay awake to see the lights if possible.
  11. I’ll just take whatever today is for the majority of the next 3 months; that is assuming I had any power to control chaotic weather patterns at all, but I digress. Wearing pants and a long sleeve light shirt under partly cloudy skies and a light breeze as I continue to install my new garden. Perfect install weather considering it’s June 1. 62/38 at the moment.
  12. I’m at 50 now, supposed to drop to 45. Windows wide open.
  13. My brother in Sussex County also said there’s localized flooding near Franklin.
  14. That 2.28 in Chester makes sense based on my wheelbarrow. Last of it lifting out now.
  15. Had a solid flash and bang of thunder around 4:00 am. Woke up the baby and the dog. Cleared out for now with some decent winds.
  16. The positives are low utility costs. I’ll enjoy it as long as possible.
  17. Nematode; got mine in NJ. I’ve been trying to save it with my tree-scientist buddy, via fertilizer/meds, but it’s too far gone. I suspect they will all go sadly.
  18. Salvaged the day in Chester but dealt with numerous showers that rotated thru. Nothing a good backyard fire couldn’t fix. Down to 48.
  19. If this was winter…. Oh boy the wolves would be howling.
  20. 44 here, rain rates picking up. FYI, I was overruled (primarily due to the baby’s room), and the heat is now on.
  21. 2nd floor thermostat is reading 62. I refuse to turn heat on. Told the wife she could close the windows however.
  22. Bit breezy, but nearly perfect outside. Get out and enjoy the day all!
  23. Apparently a ship just sailed into the Brooklyn Bridge; maybe the winds were a factor? Hopefully all survive as they are pulling victims now.
  24. What a read… Back to the weather; it’s perfect outside during my lunch break. Too bad I’m headed back inside to keep grinding away in this annoying capitalist society propped up on electricity generated largely by the burning of natural gas and coal…but I digress.
