  1. You and Wolfie will never learn. "No, there's generally no significant difference in accuracy between the GFS model's runs at different times of day (off-hours vs. peak hours). The GFS runs four times a day (00Z, 06Z, 12Z, and 18Z UTC) and its accuracy doesn't seem to be heavily influenced by the specific time of the run. However, some studies suggest that the 06Z/18Z runs might offer better results for longer-term forecasts (up to 6-7 days) compared to the 00Z/12Z runs, but the difference is small. "
  2. Yeah next Saturday looks like another beauty.
  3. Exactly. You guys have had it worse up north but it's been no bargain down here. Another .77 so far today brings my monthly total over 3 inches. It's rained 8 out of the first 10 days of May.
  4. Okay now you're starting to even piss me off.
  5. Depends what the weather has been lately. As long as you don't ruin the field they let you play.
  6. South shore is a dream in the spring for sports. Played every team from Plymouth to Quincy. A lot were right on the water. Didn't really warm up until June.
  7. Please refer me to the forecast where it said you were going to get 5 inches of rain today.
  8. What were you expecting? I'm no weatherman but this looks like a pretty good slug of rain.
  9. 46.8 here. Dreadful day. Doesn't get much worse for may.
  10. Oh boy, a little sun tomorrow at the tail end of the day maybe .
  11. If we only knew someone in belchertown who could read radar correctly.
  12. Likely you have your wipers on If you're driving on 190.
  13. Not counting on much for Saturday. Temperature might spike at the end of the day but it's pretty much worthless at that point.
  14. Absolutely. Not that I enjoy them but I'll take deer flies and mosquitoes over them any day. Black flies like to chew on your face.
  15. "It is looking like we are unfortunately heading into another soggy Friday and possibly into Saturday as well, as a upper level trough closes off into an upper level low over the northern mid-Atlantic. This will induce a sub-1000 mb lowpressure to trek somewhere over or just southeast of SouthernNew England" "Temps to trend cooler than normal, perhap significantly below normal (high temps some 15-20 degs below normal)." Install lolz..
  16. Rooting this on however. No more rain. Ever.
