Disagree. He didn't say it was going to be cold. He said it was going to be a relief from nightly lows in the '70s. Seems to me to be the definition of relief.
I feel kind of bad for those wanting a hot summer. Just two years ago Boston had 9 days of 90 or above in July. It even hit a hundred. This year none! With the extended looking colder by the minute that ain't happening this year.

Unfortunately it's looking more and likely that anything tropical is off the table. This cold down means business and will likely cool the SSTs to a point where they will no longer support a cane.
What do you suppose the climate prediction folks are looking at? Those doofuses are probably still using those chart thingies. Think you should give them a call?
