  1. No way to run a Torch Drought... Gusty winds and beneficial rain are expected on Sunday as a warm front approaches the region, followed by a cold front. Dry, cooler, and breezy conditions to start next week, before we warm up again by Wednesday. The mild weather will be short-lived as rain and cooler weather looks likely for Thursday. It could even end as some snow showers in the higher terrain late Thursday.

  4. With all the trees gone it's gonna be a hot one... TOLLAND, CT — Eversource Energy Thursday pledged a $72 million investment in its ongoing tree-trimming and removal program for 2021. Nearly 100 miles of roads in Tolland are included in the program. "The long-lasting effects of drought and the gypsy moth and emerald ash borer infestations have severely weakened trees . Droughts, bugs, fires ...Why would anyone want to live there? https://patch.com/connecticut/tolland/tolland-town-emphasis-eversource-tree-work-2021

  9. " Temperatures will stay well below average all day Friday likely remaining in the low to mid-30s for one of the colder March days " https://www.bostonglobe.com/2021/03/17/metro/late-winter-snow-yes-more-snow-is-heading-massachusetts/ Lolz
  10. At least he predicted snow unlike some folk ;) "In actuality, I’m going to embrace the upcoming snow as simply one of the benefits of living here in New England; we can have 70-degree weather one week and snow the next. Mid-March snow is very common so it shouldn’t be a surprise anyway." But it wouldn't be the Stein without mention of the drought. " What’s more surprising than our upcoming wintery weather is the fact that it’s been so sunny and so dry this month. We’ve only had less than a quarter of an inch of precipitation since the start of our wettest month and any precipitation in any form should be welcome at this point. Many areas could see up to an inch of water between the rain and the snow, this is much needed." https://www.bostonglobe.com/2021/03/17/metro/late-winter-snow-yes-more-snow-is-heading-massachusetts/
