  1. Quick quarter inch of rain too.
  2. I did see it for a couple seconds. Gone now. https://www.star.nesdis.noaa.gov/GOES/sector_band.php?sat=G16&sector=ne&band=GEOCOLOR&length=24
  3. The forest is actually in Sherborn Ma but it's still an oddity one of the few large tracks left in eastern Mass. And I've been very very lucky to have the opportunity .
  4. By far the wettest I have ever seen it in July. Looks like a bad May. 10 inches of rain in the past month and an half will do that.
  5. Coldest July 3rd evah. Almost 4 inches of rain in the past 2 days. This blows.
  6. Isn't that more snow than you got in two days stretch?
  7. Orh got above 61? "The low temperature records for the day to beat on Saturday are: 61 in Boston, Hartford, and Worcester, and 60 in Providence, all of them set in 1914"
  8. Seem likely to lose out on the record low maxes. Only need a small break in the deck to bump it up a few degrees. Fingers crossed, if it's going to suck it might as well be a record.
  9. I heard the commercial mowers out yesterday. I suppose you can't let your jobs get too backed up.
  10. That's a tough one. I think I'd go with the rain.
  11. I saw that. Get the fire hose going and even the folks in Maine won't be complaining about lack of rain.

  13. Well what do you know it's raining. Nothing says holiday weekend like sheet drizzle.
  14. ““Perhaps the greatest story of the weekend is the potential record cold high temperatures,” National Weather Service forecasters said in an Internet posting. Some localities across Central Massachusetts and Northeastern Connecticut will fail to climb out of the 50s on Saturday,” the forecasters wrote. That’s a far cry from the recent sweltering heat, which included a three-day heat wave and a record high of 100 Wednesday in Boston. The low temperature records for the day to beat on Saturday are: 61 in Boston, Hartford, and Worcester, and 60 in Providence, all of them set in 1914.
  15. Everyday has its use. Perfect weed whacking weather today.
  16. Just saw my neighbor out grilling in shorts and and a polo. It's 56° and raining. I guess I have to admire his eff it attitude.
  17. What site is that pulled from?
  18. It hasn't stopped here for a minute today.
  19. Current temperature is 57° and feels downright cold. Not many times you can say that during the day time hours in July.
  20. If the temperature doesn’t reach 61 degrees Saturday, it would be a new record for the coldest high on July 3 ever. No matter what, it’s about to be one of the coldest July 3s in decades: in 1987 it reached a meager 62.
