I was going to recommend that also. Avoid Cunningham falls. Need a bit more elevation.

I'm at the base of the Catoctins at 750ft in elevation. 3 miles to my east its over 1200ft. They will probably end up with atleast 3 inches up there. Probably the best local place to go today.

Yeap. The second wave after the first one pushes the boundary south is a good way to win around here. Needs some timing but can work for a modest event.

46 degrees when I left Thurmont. 35 with snow in the Catoctins on the way home from work. Non accumulating. 38 and rain on the other side in Smithsburg. I bet they get 6"+ tomorrow at 1200ft +.

Definitely a league focus this year. The problem is ussually when the plays timing is a little off. It's not just the Ravens. It's everywhere.

What's your thoughts on Wisp the next few weeks. If they get alot of snow this coming week do they open or is it still a little early? Looks like after the snow, the week of Thanksgiving is low to mid 40s for highs.

I'm bummed out with the way Daniel's and company performed on offense.It wasn't so much of what the Eagles were doing on Defense. Lots of off Target passes from Daniel's and receivers dropping the ball. Also second and inches and can't pick up the first down on 3 tries lol. Come on man.

Daniels doesn't look as elusive as he did earlier in the season. Not sure if it's the ribs but definitely not the same.

Pretty easy call for the snow fall contest this year at the 3 major airports in my opinion. Less than 5 " across the board. If the PDO doesn't improve any we are probably toast unfortunately.

I live 20 minutes from Liberty. You need to head further west to see more natural snow. Liberty is ok but they don't get lake effect like Wisp, Cannan or 7 springs can get. Last year they were only open for about 6 or 7 weeks. Very rough , short year for them. I really like Wisp. My kids are just getting into skiing and there were alot of easy trails for them. I'm about 2 hours from wisp and we did a couple day trips there to ski last year

I'll take above normal temps in early November. Pretty nice weather.

Probably our best hope this year is a winter that's below normal for snow but not an absolute dumpster fire. Something like 8 to 14" in DC Metro and like 15"- 20" in NW burbs. One thing that gives me hope is if Canada is cold this year. A little easier for cold shots.
