The cmc has upper level energy swing through Tuesday night that changes some areas back to snow. For areas NW of DC it would be a snow to ice to rain then back to snow. Similar to last night's run minus the snow on the backend. Definitely different than the gfs.

That was a perfect set up. Cold High anchored NW of us in Canada and a huge slug of moisture running Sw to NE. As the run ended we had 6"+ on the ground and several panels of snow left to go past 240 hours. North of DC would of been easily 12+ amounts.

Looking at the McHenry extended forecast temps look good for snow making once we get to Thursday. Hopefully Wisp can get going in the next couple of weeks

Atleast Elias can't use Rodriguez as an excuse now to not sign a front line starting pitcher. I could just imagine Elias saying "we didn't sign anyone because when Grayson is back we'll have a 3 headed monster at the top of the rotation with Rogers and Braddish" Ni excuses now for Elias

Canadian and Icon both have the system but it scoots south of us. As depicted the northern tier could get on the board with the GFS scenario. Below freezing along the M/D line overnight and only mid 30s by Tuesday afternoon.

Alot of people on here agree with him but there's plenty of other places to state your viewpoints rather than in a banter thread on a weather board

What snow system are you talking about? The only thing I see are some good upslope snows in WV and western MD on Monday. East of there a flurry or sprinkle is possible but I don't think I'd even count on that.

It's not impossible to snow in a nina and a -pdo. I don't understand your thinking of "close the blinds" till we get a Nino. Is it harder? Sure but definitely not impossible and all weak ninas arent complete duds. I wouldn't expect a big storm this year but it doesn't have to be a complete dumpster fire also.
