Surprised it's only to the 15th. If they decide its all good after that then go back for about 3 weeks. Doesnt make much sense to me.

Once I saw middle aged people dying of it and even younger, weeks ago it got my attention real quick and realized it was something much more than "just the flu". How many middle aged people that are generally healthy do you see die from the flu? I dont know anyone.

The measures put into place appear to be working for flattening the curve but as expected now we have the "why the hell did we do the lock down it wasnt that bad" group if people. I think sometimes the goverment has to protect people from themselves.

Ive heard if your child gets the virus and needs to be hospitalised you cant go in with them. That would be the hardest part for any parent. It would just crush my wife and I.

Thats really unfortunate for your son. Hopefully theres a way they can do something by the beginning of June from a graduation/celebration standpoint.

Sorry to hear that about your family! Cherish the time with your kiddo. Lifes so short and you never know how long you have. My Sister lost her battle with Luekemia 2 weeks ago. 38 years old and left behind an 8 year old and 3 year old. Definitely made me look at life a little differently and not sweat the small stuff anymore.

I agree. Social distancing is working. We need to let it run its course. Rushing it and needing to go back to tougher restrictions would be worse for the economy IMHO.

We have been trying to give local restaurants some bussiness, a couple times a week. Weve done pizza, chinese, steaks from Outback.

I agree. This was by far the worst winter in Smithsburg over the last 20 years that ive lived here. Even in the crap years when dca post 1.8 " for the season I still get my 10 to 15 up here.

Ive heard that whatever grade you child had at the end of the 3rd marking period will be the final but that's just a rumor at this point. Distance learning has been a bit difficult so far. Mainly with just websites not working ,etc.

Distance learning has been clunky so far. I have 2 kids in elementary school and the google classroom app can be somewhat diffucult to operate. Especially when you have links that direct you to websites that bog down your wifi. Tears from my 9 year old all afternoon because she keeps getting kicked off. Im sure the amount of infections are much higher I agree. But they still wouldnt be in the ball park of influenza.

I agree 100%. The curve will be a gradual trend down and not a drop off of a cliff lol. Its going to take time and patience. It appears that the current guidlines are working. The US needs to see it through and not rush things. IMO June 1st is a much more reasonable time frame to start opening things back up but we need to be flexible and adjust as time goes on.

Yea. Overnight Thursday into friday has the northern tier near freezing with a period of light snow. Actually this time period looks better than Wednesday morning along the md/pa border. Lol

Wow. Thats quite the process. With working in the grocery industry I feel I am always exposing myself to germs coming into contact with hundreds if not thousands of people eveyday.

12z euro definitely has snow in the air for alot of us on Wednesday Morning. Its the "snowiest" run of the last few. Im using the term snowiest very loosely lol.
