  1. Would love to have more sleet than ZR. HP up in NY would help a ton
  2. If I get more than an inch of snow I will stop posting
  3. Awesome job, Matt. Good stuff
  4. the law of significant digits said the number you had to answer with was 0
  5. Bob's out. The real panic will set in when EJ says out. If he goes, I go.
  6. Because I'm not wx expert the thing i'll be watching now with models is where the NS kickers is. NAM speeds up our bowling ball and it gets ahead of the kicker. if we want south they need to stay at same longitude. But its the NAM.
  7. No. What will happen is that all this rain and then freezing temps for DJF will create such a thick layer of ice and frozen ground that snow will instantly pile up every time it falls. Then the snow will insulate the ice from melting so both make a symbiotic relationship keeping each other alive.
  8. Oh it will snow somewhere. Snow maps are pretty but climo is a witch. Nice trends and get the bowling ball a tad more south and a bit more confluence/congestion in the ATL and this would scream Nov early storm for all. But I'm not ready to take the plunge just yet. Most pools are drained this time of year anyways. The one caveat is that the Caps won the Cup this year so this could be the year of DC.
  9. I'm not ready for salt covered cars just yet. I washed mine last week. It still looks ok. Please no salt.
  10. we all know ground temps in Nov are like summer asphalt so lets just simmer down on snow total maps and i'll see myself out
  11. Shoveling leaf snow is the worst. totally messes up the pristine look of snow.
  12. I can’t recall ever the last time I had to make a ms paint snow map before thanksgiving
  13. Let’s root for snow that sticks around until thanksgiving. Now that would be epic
  14. Low of 26. That’s a good freeze and super early for recent years
  15. Last time i looked at my total on the VP2 it was 48" but that was before the two most recent pourings. I know that some of the training rains this summer just missed me. But to see how some other places are over 60 and nearing 70 is quite the difference.
  16. Keep bringing it with you. Granted it will turn to rain by my zip code but maybe jackpotville can get a dusting and N balt will see flakes.
  17. Fauquier schools closed due to this snow
  18. there is a 20" precip difference between me and some here despite it being wet for all. i find that amazing. I'm around 50" FTY
  19. sorry, yoder. good guys win. Lets see if Malkin gets a tiny bit of the Tom Wilson NHL treatment
  20. Everyone is posting yearly rain totals. I want to say this will prepare us for the DJF drought but tempers might flare and the country is on edge right now so that might be a little incendiary. Warm/wet, cold/dry
