    One thing is for sure, this area isn't like the midwest. They can recharge and have day after day of sups and TORS. We blow it today and get too much then tomorrow is boned. lol

    Maybe its just me but latest meso parameters aren't ugly the the DMV area. CAPE is healthy just off to the west and plenty of shear around

    my hope is to keep cloud cover at a minimum, get enough instability from warming to break cap and have the lee trough that helps pop storms do its usual thing.

    Some good storms yesterday and wouldn't mind round 2 today. Its been fairly sunny in Fx Co most of the morning. CU developing IMBY

    One would hope its uniform from state to state but it doesn't appear that way. i know that a few years ago when I went to pick up the kids from school it was when storms were hitting. there was a TOR warning that went up but not for my immediate area. the principal held all the kids inside regardless due to policy. I was surprised they were as proactive and glad they did it. What was lol was being in a hallway with all these other parents who had a ton of misinformation due to not taking the time to read or listen to the forecast for that day.

    That period of light stuff ranged from snizzle to zr to sleet for me at times. It only went all snow again once the consistent banding set up

    It snowed a little bit more after I went to bed and got another tenth or so. Final call:8.7” DCA beat me. Jesus that’s embarrassing

    Looks like I'll have 8.6" when its all said and done. Radar drying up for me. Great storm. Want more and one day I'll get into the good banding that so many get for the whole duration.
