  1. Pretty good for my area, maybe a touch low - 71.5
  2. Btw, had another 3” with the system today, bringing season total to 71.5
  3. Actually no, I don’t typically report in. There is one person/trained spotter in New Fairfield who I often see on the roundups, however, not me (I believe they are more on the northeast part of town). I think the Sherman one is separate, yes. There’s also a good personal weather site, shermanctweather.org, though further north in Sherman, that has lots of data. Finally, I follow Western CT Weather (Jack Drake) on FB and he posts lots of data as well. Quite a few weather weenies in this area. The hills/elevation in the area support good snow. Thanks for all the work and time you put in to collecting data, it’s really amazing and appreciated.
  4. In case you didn’t see from the other thread
  5. HREF is solid 2-4 across CT maybe a bit higher in spots.
  6. @Four Seasons 21“ storm total 68.5“ on the season. Location on the New Fairfield/Sherman border all the way in the NW part of New Fairfield near the CT/NY state line. 850‘ ASL
  7. Just hit 21“ on New Fairfield/Sherman town line, sitting here smiling with that band on the NY/CT border overhead.
  8. Cut back a bit from 9z but still 12-18 through CT
  9. For those WOR, while NAM is backing down some, RRFS and FV3 bumping up. Will see what 12z HREF gives.
  10. WOR will do fine. Deformation band and better ratios, even 1.5 qpf will result in 18-24.
  11. At least it didn’t turn to total crap. Gfs gives something to work with and AIgfs definite improvement.
  12. Canadian deterministic also has huge storm surge though a bit south. Its ensemble has some great hits
  13. Let’s do this. Lock it in skynets on board
  14. AIGFS with a nice hit, wish AI Euro would follow suit
  15. Canadian has a nice storm same time frame, though a bit south. also Ukie has it. Nice signal on 0z models tonight
  16. You know that once we get closer to spring and warmer temps all of these nice looking storms are going come up the coast and give us rain instead of sliding south. Just wait for it.
  17. Don’t worry , it won’t play out that way. Lots of time for changes both good and bad.
  18. EPS and EPS-AI also shifted south and east, unfortunately. Still time for changes obviously, but not looking great at the moment.
  19. Yeah, sucks for the heating bills. If we’re going to have it be so cold, need some snow.
  20. So true. Would have been pure misery without that storm. Right now it’s just painful with all this cold around and nothing happening in the dead of winter.
