    It’s been disappointing so far. We are surrounded on 3 sides by much better radar returns and it won’t budge.

    It’s actually probably 32. My closest station is just down the hill but the others with closer elevation to mine are 32. That difference might matter.

    Oh man.... that panel at 48 hours is a masterpiece. That is some really stunning wraparound. I hope to God it happens.

    RGEM is much improved around here compared to earlier runs. Looks like it wants to jump the low further southeast and then bring it up across the benchmark.

    Your 12" line runs right through my yard. Hopefully the mix stays to my south.

    Yeah Feb 2013 was another one. It had light snow throughout the day starting late morning, and then only after sunset did it really get heavy.

    PDII was a very slow mover but that was ages ago.

    Looks a bit high for NYC, but also for here in RI.

    If you're talking about early December 2019, that was around 10" here.

    Yeah I'm skeptical that it gets that warm around here. Maybe around 33, but based on what I know of my climo I don't see it crapping out like that. At least not in my part of the state. There could certainly be a sharp difference between here and Warwick, let alone further south.

    The Euro has a very warm coastal front messing up this storm for many of us in SNE, at least if you believe the surface temp projections. Up to 37 degrees at the height of the storm.

    Between that storm and March 2001, it was quite the nasty winter for him. But I remember the later years much better. PDII was among his best.

    GFS has been looking pathetic here for days, but apparently it is not very credible anymore. Between the main GFS and GFSv16, can the real GFS please stand?

    Looks like they’ve cut that down quite a bit now. It shouldn’t have been done, but it was very early, even before the watches were issued.
