    Looks like precip is trying to fill in to my north, but it's a tough battle between the dry air of northern MD and all the abundant moisture to my south.

    Light snow. Looks very nice outside, maybe just under an inch.

    That may be so, but at this range, when everything is still down to the wire, it is a good sign to see that (for those of us on the northern edge). I've seen the opposite, where the HRRR pointed out a red flag that the global models couldn't notice, and then it ended up being right.

    I’m glad to see that schools still close when it snows, and that “online learning” hasn’t yet taken that away.

    I actually think 1-3" is a very reasonable call for my area. But I'd be very surprised if nobody in the DC area or southern MD west of the bay gets over 5" with the heavy rates, plummeting temps, and abundant QPF.

    Tasselmyer has been a great forecaster for a long time. Which is why I expect better from him.

    With temps plummeting across the column, I don't understand why he thinks ratios will be low. Bad reasoning from him.

    HRDPS also looks just slightly north of 12z, which makes a big difference for many of us.

    Yeah with remote work it wasn't worth keeping an apartment. The world changed so much in just a few years. I hope to still go to NNE for skiing.

    Congrats to usedtobe and the southerners! Like others said, I'm just going to let the chips fall where they will. I've kept an eye on this but never had any big expectations, and honestly it's not worth it in this region to get so sucked in. An inch or two will still be a nice treat.

    I haven't seen a last minute north trend in our favor like this since January 2010. Oh and I'm back in MD!

    Very similar to mine, except my triglycerides are like 65. But CHOL/HDL ratio is right around 5 for me.

    I have similar issues, probably not as bad as yours. My total cholesterol is normal, but my HDL and LDL are the problem. Triglycerides have previously been high but now they're looking good. Never taken any meds, and I'm going to see if my lifestyle changes make enough of a difference.
