  1. 6z gfs unimpressive. Areas north and west with elevation could see some accumulations but that's about it.
  2. The blocking is legit. Wherever the SLP occludes it's going to start heading east. That's why we're seeing such disparities to the north and along the coast run to run depending on the stall.
  3. NAM looks good for north and west of the city.
  4. Riding a NJ Transit train out of Penn a few years ago we pulled up to the Secaucus Junction station. The conductor got on the PA and announced, "Now arriving Secaucus, this is Secaucus junction. It's in the middle of nowhere, but it'll take you anywhere." Always felt like that was some sort of real life materialization of an unwritten Bruce song.

  6. The axis of heaviest snowfall has the immediate NYC metro in the cross hairs. At 4 days out that's pretty impressive model consensus.
