  1. The Euro was close. GFS kind of led the way for the last storm from a storm signal standpoint (about 6-8 days out).
  2. 12z GFS is still showing potential for next weekend….slider that turns into a Nor’easter
  3. “Nothing is showing on radar, but it’s snowing harder than it has all season”
  4. Interesting that the 6z GFS showed a very similar setup with a clipper/ULL type system this coming Sunday evening for much of ETN. Obviously, 7 days out, but the GFS has done a good job of sniffing out potential
  5. A little OT, but I feel terrible for the Raleigh snow lovers. They have been dry slotted this entire time. Pretty crazy to look at on radar.
  6. Yep..noticed the same thing too. By the way, looks like we live really close to each other.
  7. No one else is shocked! Your location over performs 90% of the time!
  8. @Holston_River_Rambleris the ULL back towards Arkansas right now?
  9. You are going to have your 0.5” before the main event even starts! Lol!
  10. It wasn’t really supposed to start for you until later tonight, correct? I was thinking around 7 pm. I thought this was just the appetizer that showed up on the models prior to the ULL rolling through

  12. lol! Yea, he’s a little all over the place
  13. @GBOVolz are you still on VQ? Ol’ Matt has a Snowquest thread going. About an hour ago, he posted that snow totals were coming down in and around Knox. Not sure where’s he seeing that unless he’s looking at the NAM. Everything else has been consistent. I know he’s apparently a meteorologist which made me wonder what he’s looking at.
  14. Exact opposite is happening in West Knox. Already at 35 degrees. Need the cloud deck to thicken
  15. Anyone have a map or gif of where the ULL is currently?
  16. Not that it matters a ton, but I’m seeing the last update was at 12:01 AM with 4 to 6 inches. Am I missing a new update?
  17. CMC at 0z is very similar to RGEM as you would hope/expect

  19. It looks to me like it’s been a tad further west with the ULL.
  20. Was just coming to post the same. On my phone, but from what I could tell it did increase totals from 18z in most locations in ETN
  21. Yea…I miffed by the NBM. It’s interesting that it looks like it uses old data/model runs. Please let us know what you find out.
  22. 1-2” back to Nashville, 3-4” plateau, 5-6” around Knox, 6-8+ up in NETN
