  1. Clouding up here in the jungle region of the state. Seeing heavier rain totals to my NW all week made me laugh. As expected the bullseye has settled here where it belongs. Looking forward to my 2-3+ inches. I sure hope this continues this winter. Colder flooding rain lol

I had :weenie: for lunch... and you are what you eat. Nothing will stop me from believing it cannot be worse than last year. There’s no way I’ll only get half an inch or less.

You must be new to the area lol

Rain totals from Delta this weekend keep going in the wrong direction on the gfs for those that want rain. The euro still looks decent.

Good. It hasn't rained in days here and it's still so wet still that my lawn mower leaves ruts in my yard when I tried to cut the grass yesterday. Hopefully it ends up sunny and dry.

    35F.  Patches of frost.  Amazing.

Smoke layer is gone, last night had an exceptionally clear sky and bright starfield.  Was a perfect night for the inaugural fire on my new patio fire pit with my kids.

More importantly.. does it actually rain at your new location?

Impressive 44 degrees here in the rainforest region.

That’s how much rain I’ve had all month. Wow!

Nothing new here this summer. My area has been the bullseye for every rain event this summer. I've never seen it this wet and nasty in the 42 years I've been alive.

I’d get banned if this was a winter storm.

I'm sitting right in the middle of the rt50 band. It's been snowing steady here for the past 2 hours. Closing in on an inch with moderate snow and 18 degrees. Enjoy those clouds and frozen mud.

Steady light rain. Radar looks good for here in the rainforest.

NAM twins dry this weekend. GFS mostly dry thru the entire run. Hope it holds.

That hurricane at the end of the run is only 1500 miles east of where it had it yesterday. LR modeling is as accurate as the farmer's almanac. I'm vowing not to look beyond 5 days this winter.

Marginal risk of excessive rain for the area over the next couple days.

Pretty good slug of moisture moving into Southern MD. Interesting to see how much of that makes it up our way. Could be a rainy day if it makes it.

  9. I can't believe I got another flooding rain this evening. Two rounds went through. The first round was the tornado producer. I was less then 5 miles from the affected areas. The lightning bombs it was tossing were impressive. I received 2.65" in a short time.

  10. One heck of a lightning storm here in the rainforest. I was driving over the Severn River bridge and witnessed some bad ass lightning bolts. Big ole thick long lasting bolts just bombing the Severn. Looks like more storm building back around DC. I got a 1.50" here at my house in about 30 minutes. Not severe but really fun storm.

Sad day here today. We let our 18 year old cat Oscar run pain free over the Rainbow Bridge. He had been fighting cancer for 2 years. But his body had just had enough. We will miss him so much. He was such a kind gentleman.

Aww.. sorry for your lost. I lost my 10yo Maine Coon in July to cancer. It was sudden so that made it hard.

Just prepped and seeded a large section of my back yard. Really hope the next few days are cloudy and wet.

Just seeded my fall salads greens. Cloudy, cooler and rainy would be ok with me. Radar looking much healthier the past hour for the DC area.
