Remnants of PTC8: Drought Denting Rain Event

24 hours from the start and I'm not sure if I'm getting 4" of rain or no rain at all. Great warmup for winter lol -
I need dry conditions right now for my cannabis crop. It looks like Tuesday is wet and humid. From what I can tell, it looks like dry high pressure pressing in from the north and NE by Wednesday. Do we get into lower humidity after the storm?

I'm a huge weenie. I've been tracking every run lol. I thought more people would of talked about it. It still looks like an interesting setup for a big ocean storm.

And...... poof lol. It keeps it offshore now. Anyone who surfs should keep an eye on it. It looks like a swell maker. Not a drop of rain the entire GFS run.

It's been insisting for a couple days that a hurricane is coming up the bay.

I spent most of the day crabbing the Wye River. The sunrise this morning was spectacular. It felt like a classic mid October crabbing sesh. Beautiful crabs and beautiful weather. 10/10

Bring on another drought and low humidity. I need dry weather to prevent mold on my cannabis blooms. The past couple of evenings I've noticed big temperature differences in low areas compared to elevated areas. I'm only talking 100 feet or less. Walking down hill was like walking into an air conditioned room. I love micro climate stuff.

Friday night into Saturday looks like a nice steady rain event for most of the area. Definitely a sign of fall. Saturday morning looks like a good morning to sleep in.

Heater City. Mother nature isn't wasting time bringing back the water. I'm happy to see that beautiful area getting the rain it needs.

Perfect! This winter sounds like a good one. Remember last fall? Everything looked amazing. We had a week of winter lol. I wouldn't concern yourself with some dudes guess. My guess is we snow town.

I missed out on most of the rain last night. I did have a showery night. I actually had to water my plants because what we had didn't hardly get the ground wet under the canopy of the plants. It's not dry here at all. It's just cannabis plants like steady watering when in well drained soil. There's definitely a fall vibe in the air today.

Same. Just sitting outside on my patio smoking a joint and listening to the light rain and cicadas. It's a perfect evening to relax.

Keep that hail to the west. I don't need that hitting my cannabis plants. Just cloudy and humid here. There's definitely a jungle vibe out there this evening.

Somehow I've gotten into chiggers and they tore my ankles up. I'm ready for 50 degrees and cloudy lol. It's a beautiful evening. Classic dog days of summer vibe out here this evening.

Cloudy here too. I hope it totally ruins our run at extreme heat. Heat is the only weather we do right and it's the only weather i hope fails. Give me nuking cold blast and wind. That's fine. I'll hike all day in that.

Surprisingly it doesn't feel as humid as it did last evening. Next week looks great. Sunny, temps below 80 and lower humidity. We just need to get past the next few days.

Looks nasty this week with summer returning. It does look like a cool down by the weekend and 70's the following week.

My fall fever is strong this morning. I could hear geese in the distance, I could see my breath (yesterday morning) and the smell of flowering cannabis is filling the air in my neighborhood. Ahhhhhh.. false fall.

Brrrr... bring back the drought and extreme heat lol. It's only 51 here in the woodlands of AA County.
