Say what you will about the progged mean long wave pattern for January, but I have one more shot at avoiding hitting the midway point of the month with 2" of seasonal snowfall....should that occur, the avenue to a good season is a pretty narrow, dirt road. This is getting very tiresome.

I don't agree...January 6 is less likely to come to fruition for at least the nothern half of New England than it was a week ago. This is the reality and the point, rather than the models' reluctance to appease the masses.

100% percent honest....give me last year over 2009-2010. The January 2024 event made my season.

Yea, sure....but the question is how much. At 2" on the season, if I come out of this month with a couple of moderate events, I'll be planning my fantasy draft.

I know how you feel...mother nature has gone out of her way to engineer failure for me the past couple of seasons...March 2023 was a real kick in the nuts.

You mean not convey their thoughts. No one likes seeing it....disliking the result and being mindful that its not a fait accompli aren't mutually exclusive. I didn't see anyone melt down.
