Its exciting to actually have a bonafide arctic airmass in place as a storm approaches for once...man, it's been years. -
My whole point was that they seemed clueless bc they were simply chasing the OP, but this is the first suite that they aren't...that is all. I don't expect a foot of snow. Jesus, starting to think the less one says on here the better.

The couple well east don't phase, which skews the mean.

Usually we see phasing trend a touch "sloppier" in the nearer term, which would actually work to our advantage here...but knowing this season, the two TV's will fit like a glove in this case, since that works against us.

No, I get what you mean and I was always leery of that..its just frustrating to see it actually breaking that way in a season in which very little has gone right for MBY. Obviously I know the ens mean is usually a useful tool, but like any other, the upper bounds of its utility is the degree to which we can deploy it effectively. That is forever a work in progress. I was obviously speaking from emotion to a degree; I admitted that.

I do, too, but I honestly don't think that changes much for me...it will end up a colder rain and maybe 2-3" more of snow. The fun look is dead.

No, the fact that they did, and then inexorably marched towards the OP for the past two days. If the ens had matched the OP from the get-go, it would have been an easy call to not invest.

That 6-9" green area in the transition zone probably ends up more like 3-6".

I'm not getting into it. I'm sure we won't see eye to eye and I'm speaking out of frustration. Most people get what I mean.

The long range has looked great since before Xmas, and I've seen like 6". Just so maddening.
