  1. Regression? Its climo for her to take you to the shed....gonna be a long wait for VT to regress to southern CT lol Some bump worthy material from the southern folks for when this begins the inexorable late charge northward
  2. I wouldn't doubt it...enough to bust all of the February temp calls, before playing catch up with snow.
  3. Just raining Hadley Cells and compressed geopotential mediums.....pouring.
  4. Yea, I had my second window ending March 3rd, so sue me if it goes another week. The coastal plain should be the focus, as more winter storm threats should follow the early month NESIS window. The culmination of the seasonal progression of El Niño results in a Modoki like configuration as the event decays. The recovery of the PV is accompanied by more prominent RNA to fuel modification and an early end to winter throughout most of the east late in the month and into early March. But not before another Archambault window from about February 11 through March 3, which may also place an emphasis on the Mid Atlantic.
  5. Well Forecast Messy AM Commute The forecast for the light snowfall event that concluded this morning was very strong. The only slight blemishes were were the fact that no place in the Monadnocks of southern New Hampshire quite made it to 3" and there were a few sports in southeastern Mass and this hills of northeastern Connecticut that received slightly in excess of 1" of snowfall. FINAL GRADE: A This minor system was a warm up for what will be a much more challenging forecast this Sunday. Stay tuned for First Call tomorrow.
  6. https://easternmassweather.blogspot.com/2024/01/well-forecast-messy-am-commute.html A on this one.
  7. Two trends I suspect in the future are slower phase and more amped....with this in mind, that was a very nice run.
  8. I agree John, with the ridge out west its probably ultimately not a bad thing that we saw these seaward solutions in the medium range because it will probably amp up again.
