@CoastalWx i see 2N Weymouth at 6" on the PNS is that you? i know you said 5.5, did it change or is that someone else?

Looks like BOX did toss that 16.2 cocorahs report for some reason. They issued a final PNS for this and didn't include it.

I was in Salisbury on Saturday night between 6pm and 11pm or so and they clearly had some decent accumulation but how they ever got an accurate measurement is beyond me.  The wind was blowing pretty good and snow was drifting across the road all going out to sea.  There were a few driveways that were untouched where you could see a good 6"-10" or so via the tire tracks of cars pulling in or out.  No real problems getting around but the local DPW was definitely going to need to hit those drifts periodically.

Have you ever noticed that dot for South Weymouth is not even in Norfolk county. It's almost directly over Norwell, just south of Hingham town line. Am i crazy or is that not S. Weymouth at all? To me it looks right over Norwell.

It;s the site of the old KNZW airbase....it used to have manned obs in the early to mid 1990s before closing. It's almost in Abington on the town line IIRC....and yeah, just due west of Norwell.

ah that explains the S. Wey Naval base COOP reports ive been seeing looking back at storms from the mid 90s.
