Rd9108
Funny how it happens every big snow storm and people freak out. Snow will fall right time with what NWS predicted.

A few here seemed bothered by the virga, so figured I'd share a local met's explanation. I think he explained it pretty well. Lol
Burghblizz
Could you imagine if the AFC championship game was here tomorrow? (it wasn’t that far fetched) The Steelers were in a 1 point game in the 4th quarter, with several blown opportunities already. The Bills were a play away from beating the Broncos. The Steelers beat the Pats earlier, so who knows what would have happened the second time. That combo would have meant a game against the Bills at home. My guess is it would have been moved to Monday night.

Lol The virga is a non starter. The precip wasn’t supposed to start yet. It’s not like we are wasting QPF 1

blackngoldrules
Its just funny that some people get nervous whenever they have radar echos with no precip. I stopped sweating this stuff years ago. I've been through too much personally that's way worse than busting on a snowstorm. Lol I'm just going to enjoy the ride and whatever happens happens. It's been fun to track all week and now it's finally almost here.

Like you said...common feature here with big storms it seems. I think people just want to see a big storm and we bust low a lot so they worry.

MikeB_01
As I sit here at the very beginning of this storm and I’m looking out at the first flakes falling. I started to think about the past week for this group. We started outside the path and moved in. We watched a weeks worth of models and we found our maps covered in 15+ inches of snow on it. This has been fun. What a time to be alive. Let’s bring this one home.
