a bow echo tracked through Columbus and Mansfield last night (8:00-9:30) and there was a 75mph gust at Hilliard, OH.

CLE ended up TOR'ing a notch in the line as it passed over Mansfield. They surveyed damage this morning and determined there wasn't a tornado, but found evidence of 70-80MPH straight-line winds in parts of Morrow and Richland Counties. Wasn't expected such a potent bowing squall line out of yesterday up here.

Just wanted to save these obs from Tuesday down in Florida and Alabama with respect to their flooding rains.

From Pensacola:

KPNS 300253Z 11007KT 1 3/4SM R17/5000VP6000FT +TSRA BR FEW007 OVC014 21/19 A2979 RMK AO2 LTG DSNT ALQDS SLP090 P0568 60718 T02060194 51006

5.68" in an hour with 7.18 in 6hrs, at this point PNS went offline either due to flooding or power outage.

From Gulf Shores:

KJKA 301155Z AUTO 35004KT 7SM VCTS BKN007 BKN110 20/20 A2979 RMK AO2 LTG DSNT ALQS 60486 71650 T01980196 10216 20186

Gulf Shores however did stay online with 16.50 measured for the day and 13.32 in 12hrs as of 7am local time Tuesday. These might be some of the highest rain totals measured by an ASOS, certainly the highest I have ever seen.
