Chrisrotary12
I'm a fan of the wind of 8 already and the BL hasn't had a chance to establish yet. And somewhere in there we had to of hit a 75 or 74 right?

Metsfan
Anybody who went with precip today will be the big winners. I went foolishly with 0.00.

Didn't think there would be this many storms around today.

Mallow
Forecast from my phone didn't go through, so I ended up Guidancing. Here's to hoping for 0.37" tomorrow! Your phone was trying to help.
wxmeddler
Well, I'm boned. Come on 74!
Mallow
I mean at this point, I wouldn't mind seeing like 1" or more. The 75F on the special obs could be due to rounding. 24.2C, 24.3C, and 24.4C would go into the special obs as 24C = 75F, even though the temperature might actually be 76F. Mallow
up to 0.69" on the latest obs. Can we do it? Can we get over 1"?

Max
I hardly care if it's raining. Had a perfect on day 1 and probably will have a 1 error day on everything other than precip if the winds verify at 13, but somehow it will be 12 or 14 lol. Still going to be in the top 100. Should have went 86 argh.
Chrisrotary12
Look at the top 30. If you guidanced today then you moved up. How did some of those forecasters forecast and inch of precip today?
wxmeddler
Yeah at this point, I want it to rain as hard as possible to get the temp down to 74. Mallow is also right in that there will be a significant increase of people who go much higher on their precip.

Quincy
Kept conservative with precip tomorrow... 87/75/11/0.03. Gut is no precip, but don't want to get burned again. Pretty good model consensus for at least some light precip, then again that didn't mean much on Tuesday... Edit: In afterthought, 0 vs. 0.03 doesn't make much difference...that is, unless a large number of contestants go with 0 tomorrow and it does rain, then it helps slightly. And almost my forecast exactly too. 87/75/13/0.03 Models have a decent amount of mid-level drying during the afternoon, which combined with less bullish output from the high-res guidance than today, made me settle for 0.03.
