Wound up with 1.30" from that round of storms. 2.10" total including last night.

Getting dumped on here. About an inch in the last 30 minutes, along with 0.80" last night and early this morning. Still more to come looking at the radar.

Just had a thundershower here, a little earlier than expected. Looks like a nice cell on the other side of route 1 also.

The disadvantage of spring seeding is that the root system won't be developed enough to endure hot weather. It is nice though, this time of the year, to not have to worry about ever colder weather which can lower the blinds on seedling growth (like last fall here). I'd spread an inch or less of topsoil on it, feather it into the surrounding grass, seed it and rake it in (and water it as needed). You might need to hit it again in September, but I'd take my chances - you don't want to be looking at that all summer, lol. Eta - if you don't have one, get one of those 3 ft. wide aluminum dirt rakes, they're great for that kind of thing.

I'm taking them one at a time, but how sweet would it be to wind up with snow from all 3 events!

I can't imagine Glenn being all that inspired in that setup - he has a lot more to offer.

Good job! JB probably says cold and snow later this month and into February (maybe a bit more dramatically). I'm in favor.

You didn't miss much sports wise, starting with the 64 Phillies collapse. You would have liked the snow though.

I voted no because this is what I'm used to and it works for me. It's low key, but gets busy when something interesting is developing/happening. At the same time I'd stick around if there was a merger.

This is true. Yet with all the cable channels there are, somehow more winds up feeling like less.

I was surprised this morning to see that Verizon doesn't carry TWC as of today. I discovered this because I liked weatherscan (owned by TWC) as a local area resource for current conditions (Allentown, Trenton, PHL, Wilmington, AC and Dover), and it is there no more. Apparently TWC has been replaced by Accuweather (on Verizon, in this area at least).

I saw yesterday that the NAM was showing a (new) snow accumulation over parts of eastern PA and NJ, but like you said, nothing appears to support it, surface or otherwise. On the front end there appears to be too much warm air everywhere but at the surface, on the back end the precip looks to be out of here before it gets cold enough. Maybe the freezing rain is being counted as snow?

I agree - he is the thinking man's TV met for this area
