    Got 1.82" of rain here today. Lots of thunder and lightning when it first started, with a couple of strikes within a half mile. 73°F currently with light rain. Still pretty humid!

    I can tell you didn’t write the forecast discussion for Mt. Holly this evening, lol: "Wednesday will be a repeat of today with more hot temps & obnoxious humidity for the area."

    Furthermore, just got one of these - too bad it's cloudy. But what's off to the SW is pretty interesting. Seeing lightning and hearing a few rumbles of distant thunder. Also getting a few rajndrops now.

    I've been seeing a boatload of lightning flashes in the distance (to the SW), so I looked at the lightning website and wow. A poster in DC forum (a met) said a peak of 500 to 600 strikes per minute. No rain here yet, but something to drop the temp a few degrees would be nice. Currently 79°F and muggy.

    Total for the evening here was 3.52". Someone else's turn tomorrow, lol.

    Rates have gotten lighter, but just crossed the 3" mark. 1st gully washer in a while here. Also cooled it down to 73°F.

    Thanks, we're sitting on the porch, watching the rain. 2.25" so far. Looks like it wants to expand across the river, maybe you'll "get some"?

    Yeah, now in a flash flood warning AND a severe thunderstorm warning. Almost 1.5" in 20 minutes. It's the real deal.

    Getting into some pretty heavy rain here. Very dark, radar looks good, a little thunder and lightning, no wind to speak of. Lots of rain, a quarter inch in the last 5 minutes. Eta - make that 1/2" in 8 minutes! Let's make that 3/4" in 10 minutes, lol. Getting windy now too! Now 1" in 12 minutes!

    Received 0.95" of rain here, along with some wind and a decent amount of thunder and lightning. Maybe the best part is it knocked the temp down nicely for now.

    Surprised you haven't received more, unless you're talking about the last couple of hours. Have 1.05" here in the last 24 hours, including about a half an inch around 2 to 3 am last night.

    Radar isn't overwhelming for here at the moment, but it's dark enough for the lightning bugs, lol.

    This last batch has been carrying on for a while now. Steady rain, lots of lightning and thunder, for the last hour. Letting up now but did pick up 0.40" of rain from it.

    Got a little popup storm moving up from Delaware that has prompted a severe tstorm warning. Looks like a crawler, could get some rain - it's been on the light side here too lately. 87°F currently.

    Dover appears to working again, for the time being. Ball peen hammer comes in handy at times! 95°F here currently, high so far was 96.

    Neighbor just west of us lost a couple, her trees probably saved some of ours.

    Canceled now, winds were pretty strong when the storm came in. 75F, cooled off a bit for a moment!
