  1. I just realized why I feel confident of a MECS on Wed... I'm dropping the cat off to be neutered at 7am and taking my mom to the cardiologist at 11am. So yeah, one the the few days I have to get in the car since March.
  2. If I recall correctly, there was a storm mid Dec 95 where we were forecasted to get 12”+. It turned into a huge sleet storm instead. Curious how similar this set up is.
  3. And we have the "We're Due Index" in our corner.
  4. 12z NAM at range, so use with caution -- still looks good with rain changing to snow on Monday.
  5. My inner weenie is saying, "the models like to sniff out the big dogs early." My Debbie Downer is saying, "11 more chances for Dr. No to change his opinion." At least there's something to track. We haven't been able to say that for a few years.
  6. Yup, nothing like being in the bull's eye 6 days out.
  7. I think you're making excuses to not get started on the snow pile.
  8. Hope he has enough weenies to go around. 32F, snizzle
  9. Heavy dusting on all non-paved surfaces. Wasn't expecting much more than a snow shower, so this was a pleasant surprise. If nothing else, we're on the board for 2020-21!
  10. Yeah, precip seems to be hitting a wall as it moves east. It will probably warm up enough to be rain by the time it gets here. The HRRR still shows snow showers...but it's the HRRR. 35F/DP24
  11. Jeb walk! That's a term I haven't heard in a few years. (Probably because it hasn't snowed much the last few years.)
  12. Seriously, I'd be happy with mood flakes at this point...like watching Jalen Hurts throwing a touchdown in garbage time.
  13. 1.10" Only 5 more months of this and we can turn on the AC again.
  14. Missed seeing it fall, but there’s pixie dust on the car, 35F.
  15. That alone would surpass my totals from last year.
  16. I'm a little west of Lansdale, had torrential rains and gusty winds when the line came through, but I would say winds were around 35mph or so.
  17. Damn! And I just heard thunder too. Up to 1.40" with some nasty stuff heading this way, dark as night out there right now.
  18. It's gonna be another winter of being 10 days away from being 10 days away. Up to 63F with 1.20" of rain.
  19. Yo Ralph, Should we be listening for thunder today or is 11/30 too early to apply the Wiggum rule? Currently 61F with .90" of rain so far.
  20. Yeah, I don't mind above average temps this time of year. We got 5 months of rain and 40's staring us in the face, may as well enjoy the sun and warm temps while they last.
  21. Fortunately no, I was wearing sweats & long sleeves. A couple of years ago I was trimming a hedge in shorts and a t-shirt when I hit a nest. They were on me so fast I probably got stung two or three times before I realized what was happening.
  22. The cold hasn't affected the yellow jackets, just stumbled across a nest while raking in the back. Went running around to the front screaming like a little girl! (Apologies to brave, little girls everywhere.)
  23. Pea size hail here too...was not expecting that. Quick hitter, maybe 5 minutes of ripping wind and rain. Cat totally freaked!
