  1. Some clearing just off to our west and storms firing to the west of that. 61F/DP 59F
  2. Getting some light drizzle. We're a rain town! 70F/DP 61F
  3. Puking fatties, er, dumping here as well, 67F. Hope they get I95 rebuilt by winter so the rain/snow line knows where to set up.
  4. Over/under on NJ tornadoes today? (Now that they're the Kansas of the east coast). SPC had bumped us up to slight.
  5. Nice thing about this time of years is we don't have the added complication of worrying about the dreaded rain/snow line. Just gotta split the uprights.
  6. Got woken up by a light shower around 1am, not enough to tip the bucket. Normally I probably would have slept through it, but I guess the sound of water falling from the sky is so unusual these days it caught my attention. 65F/DP 50F
  7. In other news, the 372hr GFS obliterates Houston with a 968mb hurricane.
  8. Should we be doing something, like brining the roads?? I did run out for milk and eggs (no bread, trying to cut down on carbs). 73F/DP 42F
  9. Just received a text from Montgomery County about an “influx” of 911 calls regarding the smoke.
  10. Yep, got clipped here. Gusty winds but just a few random drops.
  11. Junk & stuff popping to our NW. Where's Birds with the radar?? 82F/DP 51F
  12. The 12z 3K NAM has a green pixel over my house @ 2pm tomorrow. Lock it up! 72F/DP 48F
  13. Getting an occasional very light mist—some of the heaviest rainfall rates I’ve seen in a month or more.
  14. On a typical Saturday morning in June, the neighborhood would be buzzing with the sound of lawnmowers. Not today, just brown grass and chirping birds. 71F/DP 62F
  15. Anyone have access to the Euro weeklies? Curious if there are any signs of summer. Other than the dryness, I'm content to roll with our current pattern. Friday seems the the summertime version of this past winter -- a one day warm up immediately followed by pleasant temps. 69F/DP 55F
  16. I was just out and you can smell the smoke. Has a nice aroma to it, actually.
  17. I remember playing outfield in 1999, the field was like concrete. Any ball that landed in front of you would bounce like a golf ball on pavement and quickly skip past you.
  18. People who mow low have dead lawns now. Mine is still generally green but the mower and tractor are in the garage until the rain returns. Now the question is: water or let the grass go dormant?? 62F/DP 45F
  19. Grass is starting to take on a brown tint in spots. Despite being cool, the air mass has been so dry we're not getting great dew production overnight. Loving these temps but let mix in an occasional shower or two. 59F/DP 40F
  20. 89?? Thats’s so 83. By 89 we’re dancing to lip sync Milli Vanilli Bing on GnR!!
