Yep, good rates but no stickage. Otherwise it would be the biggest event of the season.
-
Actually getting a light dusting on the bushes. Everything else just wet (obviously).
-
A few flurries floating by here, too. FINALY--being patient and buckled up has paid off 34F

I think she said that’s their (Ch10) in-house model. I’m definitely taking the under on that 1” for Lansdale. Maybe a passing snow shower at best down this way.

March 13–I’m just glad we’re no longer 10 days away from thinking we could possibly, maybe have a long-shot of a chance at being 10 days away from something happening if everything lines up just perfectly. Mist, gloom, crud, 42F. Yay spring!

Ah, the inevitable NAMing. Guess it was bound to happen one of these runs. I’m sure the LHV on northeast sees accumulation. Down here my bar is set at pity flakes as the storm pulls away.

I think us southern folk can safely unbuckle—my legs are falling asleep anyway. 37F

Crap. The Euro is just enough to make me look at it again tomorrow, even though I know the inevitable outcome. Why do I torture myself so??

Chuck's gone! Hopefully it's just a start. This team's issues are far deeper than just a GM change. Danny Briere is the new interim GM of the @NHLFlyers as Chuck Fletcher has been fired. I’m told an even bigger change is coming at season’s end as the franchise looks to fill “several roles.” This could well mean a retirement of key individuals at the top. It's March 10th, didn't realize we should be consistently basking in the 70's this early
-
I'm thinking December '99 when Philly got around 8" while the sun was out in West Chester. That would be a fun repeat 35F
-
I'm struggling to recall the last time I was under a winter storm warning and received 6"+. I'm pretty sure I was under a warning in Jan '21, but the IP held on longer than expected, so I didn't hit the 6" mark. I think South Jersey and the Leigh Valley areas have cashed in recently, but do we SE PA folks need to go all the way back to Jan '16??? I'll have to check Ray's archives.

Perhaps the most underwhelming car topper of the season (that's saying something) but some slush on the windshields nonetheless. 34F
-
Right. Nothing epic on the Euro, but some chances at frozen. This late in the season, can't expect much.
-
I'll roll with "atmospheric memory" and set the bar at another car topper.
-
I’m like Ji, I think I prefer tracking to the actual storm itself. Yeah, I’d much rather be tracking the next Jan ‘96, but that’s not happening anytime soon. In another week or so, there will be nothing left to track —boring season begins. So yeah, I’m down for TV snow/mood flakes.
-
Agreed. It's late in the season. If we're big dog hunting, we'll have to settle for a slopfest. It's 4th and 26, is FredEx on the field?
-
Page 4! Like some other globals, GFS doesn’t hate that Mon night/Tues morning thingy. We’ll see…
-
I’ve been gone much of the day and just now seeing no pages have been added to this thread since yesterday. Guess there’s no point sifting through the carnage that must have been today’s model runs 44F

Seeing a couple of flakes mixed in with the rain, 41F/DP 29F

Umm, Ralph... 1) Congratulations! And the fact it's a rescue is all that much better!! 2) On behalf of every weenie in this forum--WHY DIDN'T YOU DO THIS ON Dec1??????????????? Okay, let's see what Dr. No has in store for us...
-
Let's hope all this buckled up-ness pays off.

There’s a bizarro universe where weenies view accumulations on a 360 hour prog and get to say, “It will only increase from here.” Unfortunately we live in this universe Some fog, 42F

Since this is most likely our last chance to fail this season, let's go out in style! Start the thread now, radio show, dust off the shovels and gas up the snowblowers, buy a snowblower, buy a second if you already have one, brine the roads, buy your bread milk and eggs, have Cantore begin broadcasts from the steps of the Art Museum, CRAS updates from Ralph. If we're gunna fail, let's do so spectacularly!! Heavy frost this morning, 27F.
