  1. Topped out at 87F today. Heatwave day#1 fail. We’ll try again tomorrow, same channel, same time, same place.
  2. Enjoying the final few moments of open windows and fresh air in the house. Getting ready to run the AC into the ground this week. 69F/DP 62F
  3. As a fall & winter person, anything over 78F is extreme in my book. Speaking of which... Currently 78F/DP 54F. Last nice day for awhile. Enjoy!
  4. Last week of adding daylight 68F/DP 59F
  5. Storms dropped my temp down to 66F. AC off, windows open.
  6. Something just popped up overhead, heavy downpour with gusty winds.
  7. Mike calling out Birds (probably me as well)! Short range mesos don't look overly impressed with storms this evening, but mother nature is gonna do what's she's gonna do. 77F/DP 70F
  8. Finished with 1.20" overnight, looking to add later today. 79F/DP 73F
  9. Now we listen for the first cicadas, probably in another 4 weeks. 75F/DP 69F
  10. First day of met summer and I just saw my first lightning bug of the season. Topped out at 84F today.
  11. That was one of the more intense storms in some time. Winds were just your typical thunderstorm gusts but the rain rates were torrential, picked up a quick .50” in 20 minutes or so. Also, that’s the first time I’ve seen hail here since 2009 or so. Finally, lost power for a few minutes. 60F/DP 58F
  12. I think we can put the cows back in the hanger for the night. Maybe some brightening skies earlier today, but mainly stuck under cloud cover. Rain totals .75” so far. 71F/DP 69F
  13. Doesn't seem to be much convection with what's rolling through now. Not much sun today and I imagine the current showers aren't helping with instability. But what do I know? Currently rain, 72F/DP 71F
  14. Hearing thunder from a little cell trying to get its act together over me. 80F/DP 69F
  15. Couldn’t stand it any longer, took a hose to the car to wash off all the pollen. Driveway covered in green brine. 86F/DP 61F
  16. Whole lot of nothing here, just clouds and a breeze. Would be happy with just a shower to wash the pollen off the car. 72F/DP 64F
  17. My historically low heating oil bill this past winter would disagree with the above statement.
  18. Need rain, car covered in pollen again. 72F/DP 65F We start losing daylight again a month from now
  19. Certainly not hot but not chilly either. Old folk wandering around the grocery store wearing parkas like there’s an incoming MECS. 73F/DP 61F
