Walked around the areas in easton where this thing hit. No doubt in my mind t was on the ground way longer than 400 yards. Some pretty extensive tree damage. Crews still cleaning up when I was walking around.
I was going to say, we haven’t had a white Christmas here in 14 years.
The weather the last couple days is pretty close to what we see on Christmas now
I get the sentiment from folks that winters can drag, especially if it’s not a good snow year. However, there isn’t much that’s appealing to me about being confined inside with AC because it’s 95/79 10 months out of the year either.
Yeah, I get that. The gloom can really get to you if we aren’t scoring anything and the prospects moving forward aren’t good.
This last winter was rough in that regard. We really didn’t even get model fodder.
Weeks on end of clouds and 35-40 can be a grind.
Interesting…. Like I said above, my sister in law lives 2 streets over from Kennedy circle and there isn’t so much as a twig down there.
couldn’t have been very wide or on the ground very long.
Crazy how localized it is. My sister in law lives in ridgewood rd, which is literally about a quarter mile or less from Kennedy circle and absolutely nada there
School St is a mess. Everything else is fake news
One dead tree down in someone’s front yard on beaver dam rd. Nothing on heath rd or prospect st.
Not sure any of it is a tornado though
Those are pretty different areas. Some of those streets are over by bay rd near target. Some are further south towards Norton. Some are towards my sister in laws house over near Stonehill.
