  1. Rain debacle aside, dude is incredibly talented. His voice is literally the exact same as radio and wherever else. Like his style of just coming out and singing. No insane production value.
  2. Yeah, I wonder if that may be a little different today, but I think the overall theme is the same. It’s probably at the sole discretion of Ticketmaster and maybe somewhat the artist, and my guess is folks were there until 11 and they are saying fuck you
  3. Here’s my problem with the whole thing. They kept people stranded for 45 minutes and restarted for 3 songs only to dump everyone outside the thunderstorm in the middle of a thunderstorm. Doesn’t make a whole ton of sense if “safety” is the reason.
  4. That’s my guess too. Nobody is getting a refund, even though it’s probably warranted
  5. Maybe, depends how you look at it. There’s like 80 baseball games a season though and 1 or 2 concerts in your geographical area.
  6. My buddy said it best, Ticketmaster is involved, so the other clause in there for anyone seeking refunds is probably “go fuck yourself”.
  7. Yeah, I don’t know what the right answer is either. Part of me wonders why they didn’t shorten the 3 opening sets to give him an extra hour or so given that the weather was threatening. I have a lot of sympathy generally for the artist because I do believe it wasn’t his call and he would have kept going. However, the reality of the situation is that people spend a ton of money on tickets/parking/food to attend these events and he only played half his proposed set. I’m sure any action will be based on how severe the backlash is over the coming days. It would probably be a nice gesture though to refund some money to folks at least. Going to leave a bad taste in 50k fans mouths to not.
  8. Big time controversy after last nights show. People want refunds
  9. Concert was cancelled last night after 14 total songs. Out of 26. Better be some refunds heading out
  10. Is what it is I guess. A lot of people were pouring out when we were leaving. Kind of just a bad situation all around. a lot different than t swift where there was no storms.
  11. What are you going to do. He skipped a bunch of songs and the energy was zapped. He should have kicked his openers to the curb and went on early
  12. Not sure. They rain delayed it for severe weather for like 45 minutes, and as soon as he came back on it started pouring with flashes again. As we were leaving he started playing a song that was towards the end of his set list so I wonder if it was sigfnicantly shortened just to get it done.
  13. Sucks, looks like they were going to miss and they just fired right back up. Guess that’s the kind of summer we are having. Absolutely drenched walking back to the car.
  14. I have a good amount of electric and battery tools, they work fine for the most part. I just bought an echo gas powered weed eater though. The electric one I had simply was not powerful enough to edge walkways, mulch beds, and knock down the heavy weeds behind my property. There are definitely still limitations
  15. I think people forget there are downsides to electric too. Energy has to come from somewhere. And the batteries essentially become toxic waste at the end of their lifespans. Obviously battery powered tools are more environmentally friendly, but I think this is almost 100% a noise issue being disguised as an environmental issue.
  16. Nice to see Marblehead has conquered every other stain on society to be able to waste time on this. Drugs, homelessness, crime, etc etc, must be nonexistent
