  1. I told my buddy, “he literally got a free read and missed it” lol
  2. I was surprised by that. There was almost no break, and he just couldn’t convince himself there wouldn’t be. Guys were doing that all day.
  3. This seems the most promising thus far. Would be about a third of the price of spruce peak. Looks like it has a year round outdoor pool and jacuzzi too.
  4. My wife wants it to just be a relaxing 3 day getaway. I want to ski a day, but it looks like that will be big bucks too. Well see, interesting idea to just crash spruce peak for the amenities while staying somewhere else. I could go for that lol
  5. Just checked it out… holy smokes… 500 a night in mid December. Beautiful views it looks like, but $1500 for 3 nights is a lot
  6. @powderfreak My wife and I are looking to stay for a few nights up in Stowe around mid December. Any recommendations for lodging in that general area that isn’t going to cost an arm and a leg?
  7. Congrats to Taunton baseball and softball. Division 1 state champions in both sports this spring. Proud to be an alum today.
  8. A bunch of items at target we regularly buy just jumped up in price, awesome.
  9. The manual basically states to follow the oil life indicator. Change oil display will come on when there is 15% life left.
  10. I took my wife’s rogue for an oil change last week and full synthetic cost me $82 and that was with a $10 coupon. Insanity
  11. I can probably get away with 10 then, mostly highway anyway
  12. It says go by the indicator, which is why I’m asking how accurate it is.
  13. I believe so. Supposedly the oil life indicator calculates for driving habits etc etc. Just wondering if that is a tried and true measure. Like if I go by they indicator the car isn’t going to blow up lol
  14. How accurate is an oil life indicator on a newer vehicle? I have a 2019 Honda Accord sport. Ive driven about 7k miles since buying it, and the oil life indicator is still reading 40% oil life left. That means I’ll probably get to 10k before it comes on and recommends service. Could this possibly be correct?
  15. Yeah, we have a deferred compensation plan too. I don’t participate in that. I just put whatever I would have put into that, into a Roth IRA. The state doesn’t contribute anything, is basically what I was getting at.
  16. I work for the state and my “retirement” is paying into a county pension from each paycheck. Basically, I’m required to contribute 12% of my pay to my own retirement
