Fascinating temperature bounces overnight, presumably due to wind and/or clouds. Low was 27.5, around 1am. Then crept up to 38 by 5am and sank back down to 32 around 7:45.
Currently 44.
This makes the most sense, but FCPS should also do a better job of explaining its decisions. As it is, the contrived reasons and/or non-explanations for recent delay and cancellation decisions beg the conclusion that they are just being arbitrary.
Right around 2 inches in Great Falls. Couldn’t get a good measurement because we went and spent the afternoon at Top Golf in Sterling. Awesome experience in the snow.
This was a great storm here. A bit less snow than projected but the rates this afternoon were incredible. Nice to have a fresh layer of white for the incoming arctic blast.
