Man, those New England guys bicker like a bunch of grumpy old men and grannies. When they go at it, they go at it. Back and forth...back and forth. We tease each other on here...and I'm grateful we don't get as intense with one another as they do. (Besides debates about which Upstate city is bigger or has better ratios.)
Even with all the new model runs coming in, BGM JUST posted a "new snowfall map" and look how much they adjusted it....AND check out the troll-job in NW Onondaga county just to my west. They read this board. I swear it.
Oh, wait. Oops. Sorry, @96blizz...
I can see that stupid dry slot working its way north near Elmira and I can also see a bit of suppression up near Kingston. One of them is going to screw us over. I just know it!
BUF'S forecast for N. Cayuga covers all the grounds: WWA advisory for 5 to 9 inches through 10 pm tomorrow (wouldn't that be warning criteria?), 8 to 12 inches on the map, 6 to 9 inches through tomorrow with more "snow and snow showers" tomorrow evening (which would add more).
So, I'll just issue a "Winter Weather Warning" for 5 to 12 inches tonight through tomorrow night.
Oh, there goes the Rap! It's starting the journey to the south and east as well. As I have been saying, 3 to 6 inches here with more to our south and east. Cuts to our NW or whiffs to our SE. Same ol' record playing over and over.
Well, BGM has officially added the dreaded "snow, sleet, and freezing rain" into the Onondaga county forecast for Friday morning. At this point, I would think most of it stays south of the Thruway and perhaps the 20 corridor.
