    Probably. Metrowest has to be the least windy spot in all MA.

    Yep, trees can handle only so much thrashing before they snap. The quick back and forth temp change messes with their equilibrium as well.

    How warm we talking tho? A little above normal for January isn't out of the ordinary.

    Yeah, winds never verify here. Except in that October derecho over a year ago.

    That sustained for that long will do some damage for sure, everyone drinking dark and Stormy's.....in the dark.

    Wonder if the ice will be safe in our respective areas on Christmas? Yeah we have the cutter but looks cold other than that. Shallow ponds have been frozen for Awhile now.

    The West is in a mega drought, so I'm ok sacrificing my storms for them for a decade

    Yeah such a contrast is rare, but having a few inches at elevation while just down the hill there is 0 isn't that uncommon in early or late season.

    Was down in Austin this time last year. I can see why. The trees were having their way with the power lines - no trimming in years, poles shaved off from accidents so there's only half the thickness left, looked like Mexico's grid in the older neighborhoods.

    Take em down folks, ripped and destroyed just in time for Xmas. Raw ham and turkey eaten by all, in the dark.

    I got a 2019 RAM 1500, 6 months ago. Low miles. Couple buddies just got RAM as well. I left Toyota, too pricey to fix and I always has great luck with my Jeeps.

    I wonder what % of the time a good pattern actually produces? Seems like 10%. And a poor pattern produces maybe 5%? I'd like to see the return rate on good vs bad pattern, probably not as big a difference as we think.

    Great storm. Timing sucked as I missed almost all of it, but still enjoyable nonetheless. Typical early or late season storm, it seems like the middle of winter we never get these elevational dependent storms.

    A pattern is only is good as it's production. If it doesn't produce, it means something went wrong, so it wasn't a good pattern after all. Pretty simpleton to me.
