Only the lowlands or elevated valleys have those temps. Most of interior SNE are in the 60’s. My low today was 69.2.
Well, I certainly qualify as elevated Valley. I was 11° cooler than you this morning! My wife shut the fans off when she got up because the house was down to 65°.

62F off a low of 58. Hot day incoming but these nights with windows open make it pretty easy to enjoy.

I mean dude, this mornings chill followed by hot and dry, gold
Had fans going in four windows last night and living room was down to 63° this morning.
Stopped home to grab something and the house was a comfy 70°

I was wondering when that first drought post would be. The long range does look pretty dry but being New England I can't see it lasting too long.

A warm ASOS is one thing, but I can't get past the snow measuring at Logan. I lose sleep over that.
I say this every year, NWS needs a small fenced in official station on Boston Common. There is plenty of space for a small footprint station, just need someone reliable to measure.

Wish it cleared out a little faster this evening. Ruined outdoor dinner plans. Looks like we will be regular old yuppies hitting Broadway for dinner.
Head down to Fenway in a few hours and watch 30,000 stoned Phish heads wander out into the night.

GFS is en fuego in the Southern and Central states in the long range. Looks like we ride the moderate side of the high heat line here.

1.41 for the day. Still some light rain... glad we got a much needed drink. Almost had to fill the pool and had some crunchy spots on the grass..
Lol, 50mi to your N and I have .10" for the day.

Wow, complete miss on rain here so far. We had 3 minutes of light rain and that has been it for the day so far. Humidity is just nasty right now. 80/72 I did an hour of yard work and had to retreat inside to the A/C.

So far no rain, no thunder no worries in Greenfield. Everything missing N and E of here. Hit 91F for a high but clouds have had us in the lower 80's past few hours.

90F on July 5th, just shocking.

No pun intended but the issue is not black and white. It is nuanced and we’ll have to agree to disagree. Kapernick will go down in history as a vessel for change imho.
I guess it all depends how historians paint him. The sons of liberty are an integral part of America's independence but would probably be considered terrorists in our modern climate.

We have bears all the time. There was a mom with 3 cubs eating a neighbors bird seeds a few months ago. Another family cited near the Hoose on the other side of town. They venture down the river along the Litchfield Hills often. Great animals. Would love to own one. That and a tiger.
I've seen 5 at once in my back yard and they were not cubs.

Still no 80° F here with a max of 78.7° F. My Davis is in full sun until around 3 PM too, although with the FARS there's not a big difference between what it reports in the shade vs. sun.
We may have some upper level cloud junk around tomorrow, so we may not do it tomorrow either. We'll see.
No thanks hitting 80F yet at that lat is pretty impressive. I was at 1200' in Leverett today and it was 84F.

Don't bother with the antagonists. My best friend is the guy writing the legislative details for the state of NH and everything points to how much better off we all are, with a regulated system, where you can trust the in store products and what their therapeutic effects are.

If you apply more heat to the desert, it’s still a fokin desert....Nothing changes. But if you apply heat to the poles, look out.
No worries, the switch will flip and we will cool quickly; just hope I'm around to see the show.

Ooh... couple of stout Guinness' and you'll be set up good and proper with a nasty hobbling gout attack by sun up
Nah, plenty of greens and fruits to alkalize my blood. as far as Beer goes, I work in a brewery my body has a developed great tolerance for all things water, malt hops and yeast. The funny thing is, if you drink in moderation the alcohol probably isn't nearly as bad for you as dumping copious amounts of hops and yeast in your gut with some of those big IPAs.

Still no A/C used at my house this year. Windows and fans at night and then I close the shades and windows for a few hours after sunrise, super insulated house helps.

Sun finally came out here around 1 PM

The water temp is 64 in Falmouth. It’s never 73-75 around July 4, unless your talking about a shallow pond somewhere Inland.
Yeah, usually doesn't hit 70 in Buzzards Bay until end of July
