  1. Mediocre patterns are prone to disappointment. You can call it bad luck but the atmosphere does not care about odds. Systems are getting shredded as they move East and the results are paltry precipitation moving into marginal air masses. They are not even train wrecks just slow derailment in the mid-levels.
  2. The bucks and raptors had better inside games then the Celtics do. Maybe if Robert Williams could play more than three games in a row they would be better. Anyway, we should take the sports to banter.
  3. I like your stratus half full attitude!
  4. Despite the NBA being compromised by the run and gun bombs away era, I still feel like the key to a championship, is being able to play beast mode in the paint and the Celtics have just not had that in a while. No anchor inside = no Finals.
  5. Yeah, cool, gray and damp is just depressing.
  6. Breaking out here now. Just a coating of snow and ice overnight. Still made the driveway slick as can be. Hopefully melt that off today.
  7. It’s tough to watch but us winter faithful will soldier on!
  8. I think for MPM it’s just as much about avoiding all summer heat while having decent winters. Coast of Maine obliges in that department.
  9. I have a few subscriptions but I prefer to look at models on my laptop so if I am on mobile I like when people post maps here also.
  10. By better you mean a chance at coating to an inch before freezing rain?
  11. Most of W MA N of the Pike and W of the Quabbin has not been that exciting the past few years.
  12. This may be inevitable but hopefully flips the script.
  13. Well, since you don't have a say in the matter, it may as well snow an inch.
  14. Rod Stewart's first three solo albums are top notch, early 70's classics.
  15. Years ago I was on I-295 North in NJ, at night and a car came down the inside lane going South, at really high speed. My heart didn't calm down for about 15 minutes. There were lots of other vehicles on the road too.
  16. Sun's out 35.5F Driveway mostly free of ice so that's nice.
  17. No snow here either, I wonder how far east of you was the cut off line?
  18. 32.2 here. Enough to drip but not enough to melt my driveway. edit: Actually, precipitation is pretty much stopped here just dripping and cracking as some of the ice falls off branches.
  19. Up to 32.5F with drizzle. AWT, cold flushed out by early afternoon.
