It sucks for dogs. The fireworks store in NH that I go to has an entire aisle of quiet fireworks.

Jeezuz, just looked at radar, crazy rain coming up through West Central CT. Showers have been training up through the CTRV all day, I'm expecting I'll be over 5" but maybe over 6" of rain by Sunday morning.

Yep, every time it lightens and brightens the showers just regenerate and get heavy again.

Besides Monday my NWS forecast has chance showers in the forecast everyday through Thursday.

Just got to Northampton, the drive down from Greenfield was brutal. Basically solid sheets of water falling from the sky. It’s odd because the radar does not look that impressive but it was absolutely torrential rain all the way.

That sucks, I’m sorry to hear that. Perhaps as Tip said it might’ve been a safety kill feature. honestly, to me an eight year old car is not that old especially with only 125K on it. If the engine did seize, replacing the engine is certainly cheaper than buying a new car if the rest of it is in good shape.

It's interesting because I cannot recall seeing any in New Hampshire either, yet I have seen hares at high elevation in the Bigelow Range in W Maine.

The great thing is you don't have to choose, you will likely have both!

Campgrounds sold out, Cape Cod sold out. Cloudy and cool at least you can still stroll on the beach but pouring rain sucks.
