  1. Don’t want, enjoying the dry for a bit.
  2. Up to 64/34 with full sun. She’s a beaut! I could go for a week of this.
  3. Yeah, when I was a teenager my family stayed there a few times. Bummer.
  4. 39/12 at 11pm, probably have another freeze tonight. Glad we not plant anything yet.
  5. Grapefruit size hail? Yes, I would hope it is a truly rare event. Lol I cannot even imagine the damage that would cause. Never mind personal property, crop damage would be catastrophic.
  6. Wind has completely died here now, let’s see how much we radiate tonight. Preemptively got the woodstove going.
  7. We picked up a 2015 Toyota RAV4 XLE today. 100K on it but absolutely immaculate with crazy service records. The previous owner did oil every 3K and dealer servicing twice a year. Got it for 15K which I consider a bargain in this market. Feeling grateful.
  8. My brother and niece skied in moderate to heavy snow all day at Solitude in Utah.
  9. I was up in Brattleboro for work and walking around downtown in jeans, T-shirt, long sleeve and a hoodie and I was still chilly with the wind.
  10. I have several friends who are weather enthusiasts who all feel like it’s been a windier regime the past decade, myself included. However, it’s just based on personal experience at various locations and I certainly don’t have any data to back it up. If we are indeed in a cycle of climate change then windier certainly makes sense as one of the atmospheric symptoms.
  11. Wow, that’s surprising. I’d like love to see a chart for inland because the wind has been constant the last three weeks.
  12. There’s something about persistent wind that just starts to get really aggravating. I know that in traditional Chinese folk medicine they talk about wind “stirring anger” and it seems to be working on me.
  13. When I took the dog out around 10 PM the wind had really died down. edit: That being said, it got pretty breezy again since the sun came up.
  14. Low of 29° this morning. Hopefully our last freeze of the spring.
  15. First week of May can be notorious for chilly weather in New England. That's just the way it is.
  16. 37/15 We cold and dry. Wood stove going again tonight, cuz' oil too damn expensive. Past 2 nights I've actually burned a lot of the bigger, dry, fallen pine branches, which we have a shit ton of, from all the wind.
  17. Still only 40° here but it’s the wind that’s making it feel brutal. The occasional snow flurries are a nice touch.
  18. Most companies have a minimum hundred gallon fill up so you’re talking over $500 to get less than half a tank.
