To be fair, I only look at the CRV snowfall between Greenfield and Brattleboro.

2.5” tonight. Still have flurries flying. 18/17 nice wintery appeal.

CRV should be fine with the initial WAA thump.

As far as my location nothing has looked spectacular and nothing has looked terrible. I’ve been planning on 4-8” for several days now.

Pixie dust party now. Roads are not great around here. I wonder if I can finish close to 3”?

It could still end up the biggest storm of the year for some so there’s that. At least this winter will help cure weenies of their obsession with -NAO wrt to snow. Doesn’t always work out, hey?

Last week’s abnormal warmth and then single digits overnight is definitely not the best thing for fruit trees.

Well, let’s hope we get some more snow chances because for a two weeks of March definitely don’t look warm.

8° Gonna’ be a chilly Saturday.

There hasn’t really been much sign of that yet though.

There are a lot of CT posters who would gladly take that much. Anything over 4" snowfall and I'll be happy because my kid and his friends have had very short sledding windows. Now we have the ice base and some snow on top would be awesome. I'll track storms a week out but I generally don't get too invested until inside of 72 hours. If this ends up being pedestrian it's by no means a bust, to me, because the big potential, still needed a lot of moving parts to come together. To me "busts" only occur inside of 48 hours.

The big gusts are lifting sheets of ice off of buildings in downtown Greenfield. Pedestrians beware.

Sort of a hybrid SWFE? The trends we wouldn’t want to see is a weaker wave that speeds up. The “initial thump is what we are relying on and sometimes those are over quicker than modeled. This could surprise still end up being an 8”-12” for a lot of folks or we might be shaving 20% off that. When my kid asked me this morning how much snow we are getting I realistically told him 4”-6” because, I would rather him be surprised than disappointed.
