    I think Ryan had a good melt from that storm.

    Yep, it happens. More recently I got unlucky in March '18. We were forecast to rake in well over a foot and wound up with three inches while folks just to my west got a foot and eastern CT was racking up 2 feet and change. I'm always on guard for the exhaust adjacent the best fronto. What goes up must come down. December 2003 is another good example, but thankfully I wasn't in CT for that one.

    That storm was awful for much of CT. Radar wound up shredded and the snow was like baking powder. Super dense and didn't add up to much. The wind was awesome though.

    GFS puked all over itself. Some things never change.

    Yep, it was wild. Incredibly long fetch off the ocean. I think Blue Hills put up 30". ORH was up there, too.

    March 2013 fire hose storm.

    Ha, we'll see. It will be a melt for the ages if we see anything close to that.

    That's the one. That storm also featured the worst static subsidence I've ever seen in Rhode Island. Some spots got almost nothing while a few miles away they were measuring in feet.

    I have stronger memories of his forecast for the March storm that year. Blew it baaaadly.

    He mentioned New Haven east, unless I misheard.

    If we pull a foot I'll be stoked, but Ryan's got mix in the forecast and I'm thinking subsidence and slots will be in the neighborhood. We'll see.

    I told my coworker we should hope to get into a meaty deformation band. He said Meaty Deformation Band would be an awesome name for an actual band and I have to agree. I also said we have to watch out for dry slots and my female coworker replied, "I know all about those!"

    I'm frankly surprised it's trending this far north given the strength of the high, but what do I know? Gonna be a fun storm regardless.

    Reggie does love to project dryslots. I remember that distinctly from 2015; I don't recall however whether it was actually right about them then or since.
