  1. I tip my cap. Such a combination would do me in for a week lol.
  2. These maps almost perfectly correlate to the present length of SNE weenies in those zones. Well...maybe not the 12"+
  3. Lay off the Crown for a few hours and try again?
  4. Incidentally, Hamden was forecast to get 12-18" in that storm. Talk about a positive bust!
  5. True, though I was in Boston for that one. Jan '11 was pretty epic down here though. I also got to be in Boston for 2015, so my winter storm bingo card is pretty much full at this point.
  6. I just want to beat my 2020 season in one go. Just have to crack 10".
  7. That's awesome. I saw Ricky Fowler on the course a few years back, but my cousin wins the prize: he actually played a round with Larry Fitzgerald. I'm told his accuracy is not great, but he can rip a hole in the space-time continuum when he connects.
  8. It did to a degree. It was chiefly modeled as a deep MA storm, then gradually shifted up to jack NYC area in the final day or so. Boston ended up with 6-8" when we were looking at cirrus for most of the lead up model runs.
  9. Debbying is an indispensible part of his process. That's how he books 20" storms every two years without fail.
  10. Cautiously optimistic SSNE gets a bit of redemption here. Let's go!
  11. It did this with Feb '13 as you may recall. Even at go-time it was sliding it out to sea. I never really trust the GFS for EC cyclogenesis.
  12. Perhaps presaging a slightly less tucked main event?
  13. You speak poniards, Mike, and every word stabs.
  14. I'm not too worried. That's a stout high feeding in cold. If the low gets to Long Island we can climb the walls in anxiety.
