    I grew up down in Cape Coral (escaped at first chance) *everyone* I’ve talked to down there is staying put. Since they haven’t had a direct hit since Donna in 1960, they’re either gonna continue with their good luck or this is going to be disastrous…

    You mean dredging up swampland and building homes on top of the muck? Apparently the Rosens thought it was a good idea when they developed it back in the 50s and my parents and brothers and sisters think it’s a good idea. So good and trustworthy they refuse to evacuate. smh

    And it’s seems everybody is done hunkering down. The wind made it super hard to gauge how much the park got. Some places seems about 6, others over 12.
